The following Terms & Conditions apply to all the users of www.customdesignzworkshop.co.nz website and to all products purchased from Custom Designz Workshop. Your use of the website, including purchases of products through the website is covered by these Terms & Conditions. By browsing and using our website you agree to the Terms & Conditions of our business. If you do not agree to the Terms & Conditions please refrain from purchasing from our website.
Designs
All designs remain the property of Custom Designz Workshop. This includes any designs created from scratch or copied from a photo supplied by the customer. Any design files supplied by the customer remain the property of the customer with the understanding you have given Custom Designz Workshop the right to use/create your design.
Custom Designz Workshop has the right to share any design created by our business. We have the right of refusal to not share the design file with the customer after the product has been created.
In the case where the customer requests the design that has been created by Custom Designz Workshop to be handed over, deleted or not be shared with anyone else beside the original customer, we have the right to withhold the design from all parties, sell the design to the original customer and delete the design upon request of the original customer.
Production & Turn Around Times
We endeavour to meet deadlines if appropriate amount of time for production of an ordered product has been provided. Customers are required to be clear about the date they require the ordered product as once a date has been confirmed it may not be possible to change the date due to other customer orders.
Prices
All our prices stated on this website are NZ amounts. Prices do not include shipping costs as they will vary depending on the destination and the size/weight of the item being shipped.
If there is no specific price on an item on our website, this is because Custom Designz Workshop needs to confirm the size and design with the customer before providing a price as it may be a custom piece.
We reserve the right to change any prices on our website at any time without notice.
We have the right to correct all errors (clerical, computational etc) in any marketing material, information or invoice.
We will not be held responsible or liable for any inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date information on our website.
If a customer purchases a product for an incorrect price or with incorrect information, we reserve the right to cancel the order regardless of payment made. Should this occur, we will refund the amount paid in relation to the cancelled order.
Age Restrictions of Customers
When placing an order using our website you acknowledge that you are 18 years or older..
Should we suffer any losses resulting from an underage person placing an order, we reserve the right to be compensated from the caregivers/guardians of the person whom placed the order.
You agree that you will not use any false identities when making orders on our website and the customer must provide their full legal name and current details when ordering.
Delivery
If applicable, customers will be provided with a tracking number once orders are dispatched and the status of deliveries can be viewed online.
Custom Designz Workshop are not responsible for any incorrect addresses provided by the customer. In the case where a customer has moved to a new address since placing an order and have not advised us of their new delivery address, we are not responsible for the cost of re-delivery to the correct address. This will be the responsibility of the customer.
Warranties
All our products come with a 3 month warranty under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. However, if you buy a product for business purposes, the warranty in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 shall not apply in respect to those products.
Faulty products
It is the customer’s responsibility to check the product as soon as it is received to ensure it is correct and in an acceptable condition. If it is damaged or faulty in any way, the customer must notify us to ensure we are aware of the issue so we can meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. You will also need to provide photos of the fault or damage. It’s your choice whether you opt for a repair, replacement or a refund. If we decide the item should be returned to us, we will advise the arrangements for this. Any damage caused to the product by the customer is not Custom Designz Workshop’s responsibility.
Products Arriving Damaged
If you receive your product and it has been damaged during delivery, the customer is required to take photos of the damaged part of the product and/or packaging and send these to us, we will then repair or replace the product for you.
Refunds & Returns
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 we are not required to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about purchasing a product. Cancelling your order once a product has started being created will result in a 50% refund on any money paid. This is due to time already being put into creating the product or design. If you cancel your order and the product has already been created there will be no refund provided. Refunds will be processed via the method that payment was made.
Any changes to a design after it has been approved will result in an extra $50 design charge.
Cancellation of orders
It is at our discretion if we decide to cancel your order and not go ahead with completing it. If it is our decision to cancel your order, all money paid by you up to that date will be refunded. If you have ordered via After Pay or Layby there will be an additional fee to cover the charge for the order, this will be worked out when we get to that stage. If an order is cancelled after it has started being created there will be no refund provided due to materials & working time involved.
Refunds/returning money
Refunds will be processed via the method that payment was made. Any refunds will be refunded to the account you have made the payment from. If you have made payment via Afterpay/ZIP then your refund will be returned to your account with them. This may take up to 14 working days from the date you have cancelled your order.
Payments
Payments will take place once we have received all relevant information required for an order to go ahead. All prices stated on our website are NZ Dollars.

Privacy
We reserve the right to use products we have created that use the names of individuals in our advertising or marketing materials. We will not disclose information about customers or their details to people external to Custom Designz Workhshop.
Intellectual Property
Custom Designz Workshop is the owner of intellectual property rights in the material contained on our website. Any use of the materials on this website, including reproduction for any purposes, modification, distribution, or re-publication, without prior written permission of Custom Designs Workshop is prohibited.
All images and photos on our website may not be copied, reproduced or edited in any form without prior approval from Custom Designz Workshop.
